The Receipts
Individual trades that beat the S&P 500 by 15+ points and come with context: the member sat on a committee overseeing that industry, the trade landed days before market-moving news, the company receives federal program money, or the disclosure was filed late. Every line is a public fact. None of it is proof of wrongdoing — it's the paper trail.
6 receipts from 2023, strongest first. Repeat trades of the same stock by the same member are grouped.

How a Trade Becomes a Receipt
We score every disclosed trade against the S&P 500 over the same days (see methodology). A trade lands here when it's worth $15,000+ (range midpoint), beat the market by at least 15 points — a buy that outran SPY, or a sale followed by the stock lagging — and at least one of these is true:
- The member holds a seat on a committee whose jurisdiction covers that sector (assignments from official rosters, not inferred). Rosters list current seats only, so this flag is limited to trades made since the current Congress began on Jan 3, 2025.
- A documented market-moving event for that company followed within 45 days.
- The company is a named recipient of a federal program.
- The trade was disclosed after the STOCK Act's 45-day deadline.
